Narrator: Hi, my name is Niels, and welcome to the online training video for the myReader2 auto reading system. If you have received one for your home, or are using one at school, you may have either purchased it yourself, or you've acquired it through a service club, or maybe yours is a loaner from the Learning Resources Center. If it's the latter case, yours would have arrived in a suitcase contained within a big box. Let's see what's in the box.
Description: The myReader2 suitcase is laying flat on the table with the zipper side facing up. As the narrator unzips the case, he describes the case contents and removes them from the suitcase.
Narrator: to begin, unzip the case all the way around, otherwise the lid will not open properly and let's see what comes with the unit. Aside from copious amounts of bubble packing paper which you may want to keep intact and not pop all the holes, in case you need to ship it back. 
Description: Pulling out of the opened suitcase the narrator removes various items one by one, placing them on the table. 
Narrator: Inside you will find the controller
Description: A flat square control panel with approximately 8 knobs or switches, attached to a cable. 
Narrator: Along with a foot pedal.
Description: A small square box with a cable attached.
Narrator: The user's manual, power cords, and most importantly, the myReader itself. 
Description: The narrator unfastens two Velcro straps which hold the myReader in place. He then grasps the myReader by a handle at the top and pulls it out of the suitcase. It is placed on the table on its flat square base, rather than on the monitor’s flat side
Narrator: Also in the box you will find The Quick Start Guide which will help you set up your device very quickly, the User Guide which is extremely helpful in setting up the advanced features, as well as 2 reading films one larger than the other in more protective bubble wrap. Designed to help keep flat a larger volume book that has a spine or in the case of trying to scan something that is very glossy, it will have a better resolution image as this is a matte film.
