Resources for Classroom Teachers

There are approximately 670 students with visual impairments who are attending schools across Alberta.  Many of these students are enrolled in inclusive education programs, and attend their neighborhood school.  While varying levels of specialized support are available via provincial teams from across the province, it is the classroom teacher who is charged with the daily instruction and program planning for each of the students in his/her classroom, including those with visual impairments.  This section of the website was designed with these classroom teachers in mind.
