This scholarship is intended for Canadian students who are either entering an undergraduate program at a Canadian university or college or for those who are currently enrolled at one. Eligible candidates will have ‘demonstrated the highest ideals and qualities of citizenship and humanitarian service while in pursuit of excellence in their academic, amateur sport, fitness, health, community service and related endeavours, particularly in the face of obstacles’. The term obstacles can be in reference to a physical disability or other difficult life circumstance. The scholarship is valued at $7,000 per year for students who pay tuition and $3,500 for students who do not. Deadline for applications is February 1.
